These terms govern your use of Glance. We've written them the way we write everything — plainly, so you can actually read them before you agree.
Last updated 16 July 2026. Provided by Glance App (ABN 56 404 650 167), Australia (“Glance”, “we”, “us”). This agreement is written in English; any translation is for convenience and the English version governs.
By creating an account or using Glance at glance.report and app.glance.report (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy practices. If you're using Glance for an organisation, you confirm you're authorised to accept these terms on its behalf. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
Glance turns files, photos, forwarded emails and connected sources into live dashboards. It's a tool for organising and presenting your own numbers. It is not financial, tax, accounting, legal or medical advice, and nothing it produces should be relied on as such — see clause 9.
Use Glance lawfully. Don't: break the law or others' rights with it; upload content you have no right to; attempt to breach security, access other accounts, or scrape the Service; resell or white-label it except as your plan expressly allows; or use it to build a competing product. We may suspend accounts that put the Service or other users at risk.
Your data stays yours. You grant us only the limited licence needed to host, process and display it so the Service works for you — nothing more. We don't sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it to train AI models. You can export or permanently delete it at any time. How we handle it is set out in our Privacy page, and enterprise customers can execute a Data Processing Agreement in-app.
When you connect a source — a Google Sheet, or your mailbox to pull receipts — you authorise Glance to access only what's needed for that feature (for mailboxes, only messages matching your receipt filters). You can disconnect any source at any time, which stops all further access. Your use of those third-party services remains subject to their own terms.
Glance, its software, design and brand are ours (or our licensors'). These terms don't transfer any of that to you — you get the right to use the Service, not to own it. Feedback you send us, we may use freely to improve Glance.
Glance uses AI (Iris) to read documents and build dashboards. AI can misread or misinterpret, so review what it produces before relying on it. Glance organises your records; it does not provide tax, financial, accounting, legal or medical advice. For decisions that matter — including tax and deductions — consult a qualified professional. You're responsible for the accuracy of the data you put in and the conclusions you draw out.
We work to keep Glance available and improving, but we can't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may add, change or remove features. If we plan to materially reduce something you rely on, we'll give reasonable notice where we can.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Those rights always apply. Subject to that, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, and to the extent permitted by law we exclude other implied warranties.
To the extent permitted by law, and except for rights under the Australian Consumer Law which cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim (or, where the law allows, resupplying the Service). We're not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from data you chose to put in or how you relied on it.
You can stop using Glance and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms or use the Service in a way that harms it or others. On termination your paid entitlements end; your data is handled as described in Privacy — nothing already built is deleted by us without your action, and you keep the right to export or delete it.
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts — without affecting any consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
We may update these terms as Glance evolves. If a change is material, we'll let you know (in-app or by email) before it takes effect. Continuing to use Glance after that means you accept the updated terms.
