Getting started
What is Glance?
Glance turns the numbers you already have — a spreadsheet, a photo of a bill, a PDF invoice — into one live dashboard you can read in seconds. No integrations, no data team, no setup weekend. You can't change what you don't measure; Glance is how you start measuring.
Who is Iris?
Iris is the AI inside Glance, and she does the work you were dreading. She reads your bill, works out which column is a date and which is money, builds the dashboard from your own columns, and answers questions about it in plain English — "which day do I spend the most?" You never pick a chart type. You never write a formula.
Do I need to be technical?
No. If you can take a photo or forward an email, you can use Glance. There is no query language, no data model, no chart-type menu. That's the entire point of it.
What can I actually put in?
A spreadsheet (Excel or CSV), a PDF invoice, a Word document, or a photo of a bill taken on your phone. You can also forward an invoice to your own private Glance email address and it turns up as data. Spreadsheets are read in your browser, so a big file never leaves your machine. And you always review what we read before any of it counts.
Do I have to connect my bank or my till?
No — and that's deliberate. Every other tool assumes your numbers already live in a system with an API. Most people's don't: they're in a file, a photo, and a shoebox of receipts. Glance starts there instead.
What are goals, and why do they matter?
A goal is a number you're chasing and a date to hit it by — $10,000 saved by December, under $600 a month on groceries, 140g of protein a day. Glance works out the pace you need and tells you whether you're keeping up. "I spent $3,412" is a fact you can't act on. "You're 86% through your grocery budget and only 37% through the month" is a decision you can make tonight.
Can I see what's behind a chart?
Yes — click it. Every bar, slice and point opens the rows behind it, with the same total the chart showed and a breakdown of the other columns inside that slice. A dashboard that tells you Fridays are expensive is only half an answer; drilldown tells you it's the eating out, not the petrol.
Is my data used to train an AI?
No. Never. It isn't sold, it isn't shared with advertisers, and it isn't used to train any model — ours or anyone else's. You can export everything, or delete all of it permanently, with one button in your account. Not a support ticket. A button.
How much does it cost?
There's a genuinely free plan — no card, no trial countdown, no feature held hostage. Paid plans start low and are priced in your own currency in 58 markets, so the price you're shown is the price you're charged. Photo, PDF and email import are free on every plan, including Free, because getting your data in is the whole product.
Can I change or cancel later?
Any time, yourself, from your account settings. No phone call, no retention script, no "contact your account manager". Cancel before a trial ends and you're not charged at all.
What language is it in?
English, Hindi, Spanish, Portuguese, French and Arabic — and Arabic reads right-to-left properly, not as an afterthought. Use the globe icon in the menu. If your browser is set to one of them, we'll offer to switch — and take "no" for an answer.
Is there a mobile app?
Coming. In the meantime Glance is built phone-first — most people check their numbers on a phone, so that's the screen we designed for, not the one we squeezed down to afterwards. Add it to your home screen and it behaves like an app.
What if something breaks, or I want a feature?
Tell us and a real person answers — you can attach a screenshot, and the reply lands in your email and in the app. We're early, we read everything, and a fair amount of what's in Glance today is there because somebody asked.
